TŪRANGAWAEWAE
10 April - 22 May
A powerful and diverse exhibition showcasing the work of local artists. For this collaborative offering, artists have been invited to share their perspective on the concept of Tūrangawaewae - a place where one feels especially empowered and connected to the land.
A place to stand.
Contributing artists either have whakapapa (genealogical links) to Murihiku or have arrived here and made Murihiku their home. The artworks in this exhibition will describe the artists’ affinity with the land and how place is an important part of how we define ourselves as people.
